Link History

View the full status history of any affiliate link to understand when it broke and how long it was down.

Every affiliate link Brokenly monitors has a detailed history you can review at any time.

Viewing a Link's History

Click any link in your dashboard to open the link detail view. The History tab shows a timeline of every status change recorded for that link, including:

  • When the link first became healthy
  • Every time it changed status
  • How long each status lasted

Reading the Timeline

The timeline is displayed newest-first. Each entry shows:

  • Date & time of the scan
  • Status at that scan (Healthy, Broken, Redirected, Unknown)
  • HTTP response code returned
  • Final URL the link resolved to

Filtering History

Use the date range picker to narrow history to a specific period — useful when investigating a spike in broken links after a site migration or affiliate program change.

Understanding Gaps

If a site was paused, or a scan failed for infrastructure reasons, you may see gaps in a link's history. These are shown as empty periods in the timeline.
