Reading Your Dashboard

How to interpret the metrics on your Brokenly site dashboard and decide what to act on first.

The site dashboard is designed to surface real problems quickly. Here's how to read it.

Stat Cards

The four cards at the top summarise the latest crawl:

  • Links Tracked — how many affiliate links were found across your site
  • Broken4xx / 5xx failures (open this filter first)
  • Redirected — product pages redirecting to the merchant homepage specifically (the Redirects to homepage status). Search-page redirects show up in the Redirect Issue filter pill below the cards but aren't counted here.
  • Healthy — links that resolved successfully

Anything in the Broken or Redirected cards is potentially losing you commissions today.

Last Check / Next Check

The header strip shows when the latest crawl finished and when the next one is scheduled. If a crawl is in progress, you'll see a blue banner with live progress instead — pages scanned, links found, links checked so far.

Failed Crawl Banner

If the last crawl failed, you'll see a red banner with the error message and a Retry button. You can retry a failed crawl once per 7-day window per site.

Plan-Capped Crawls

If your latest crawl found more links than your plan allows you to check in the current window, you'll see an amber banner like:

Found 3,200 affiliate links — checked 2,500 on your Growth plan (2,500 / 2,500 today).

Use the Check remaining links button to use any quota you have left, or click Upgrade plan to lift the limit. The unchecked links will also be carried over automatically into the next crawl.

  1. Click the Page column to open the affected page on your site.
  2. Click the Affiliate Link column to open the destination in a new tab and verify it really is broken.
  3. Update the affiliate link in your content.
  4. Trigger a fresh crawl to confirm the fix, or wait for the next scheduled one.
