Adding Your First Site
Connect your website to Brokenly by adding your sitemap URL.
Brokenly uses your sitemap to discover pages and find affiliate links. Here's how to add a site.
Finding Your Sitemap URL
Most sites have a sitemap at one of these URLs:
https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xmlhttps://yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xmlhttps://yourdomain.com/wp-sitemap.xml(WordPress)
You can also check your robots.txt file for a Sitemap: directive.
Adding the Site
- Go to your Dashboard and click Add Site
- Enter a Site Name to identify it in your dashboard
- Paste your Sitemap URL
- Click Save — Brokenly will immediately fetch your sitemap and begin scanning
What Happens Next
Once you add a site, Brokenly:
- Fetches your sitemap and parses all page URLs
- Crawls each page to find affiliate links
- Checks each link for a valid HTTP response
- Marks broken or redirected links for your review
- Sends you an email if any broken links are found
The initial scan can take a few minutes for larger sites.
