Cookie Policy

Our cookie policy and how we use them

Last updated: May 26, 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site operator. Similar technologies such as local storage are also used for these purposes.

2. Cookies and similar technologies we use

Brokenly uses the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary. Required to sign you in and keep your session active. These are set by our authentication provider (Supabase) and cannot be turned off without breaking the Service.
  • Preferences. Used to remember your selected language, theme (light/dark), and similar preferences.
  • Analytics. Used to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. We currently do not load third-party analytics cookies unless explicitly configured; this section will be updated if that changes.

3. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the Service. Blocking preference cookies will simply reset your saved choices on each visit.

4. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page along with an updated “Last updated” date.
